The FuelOmat is Orpak's innovative system, which enables refueling in a petrol station without cash, credit card or voucher. A Vehicle Identification Unit (VIU) is installed in the vehicle and is used as the authorization and payment device. Advanced reports are generated for fleet managers.
In the FuelOmat concept fuel is only dispensed after payment commitment:
- By the driver using a VIU device, tag or card
- By the attendant using his authorizer tag to activate the pump.
The system will then issue a Shift or 'end of day' report indicating
the amount of money and other payment means to be collected
from each attendant.
